New ways to access knowledge

 
The project addresses the special needs of blind and visually impaired students. To this end, tailor-made, 3D-printed learning materials have been developed that are both educational and entertaining. This physical content is also complemented by audio and online content. Their development was a highly interactive process involving schools from all partner countries as well as experts in the fields of 3D printing, IT, didactics, science and science communication. It was particularly important to the project team that the final beneficiaries, i.e. teachers and children, were involved in the creation of the tools by actively accompanying each development step, testing the materials and providing valuable feedback.
